Passes Away at Home
of Daughter

          After several months of illness,  Mrs. Termelia Neal  84 years old, died at 6:00 o'clock Monday evening in the home of her son-in-law and daughter,  Mr. and Mrs. Goerge Bernardo,  48 John street.  Mrs. Neal was born in Shelbyville June 1, 1854,* a daughter of  William and  Sarah Ransdall,  and had spent her entire life in this city and county.
          Survivors include two sons and three daughters.  The sons are  William Simms,  Shelbyville, and  Robert Earl Simms,  of Mansfield, O.; the daughters are  Mrs. Bernardo and  Mrs. Walter Weddle,  of Shelbyville;  Mrs. Fred Mills,  of Mansfield, O.;  Mrs. Fred McColley,  of Ottawa Lake, Mich., and  Mrs. Emily E. Byrd,  of Mansfield, O.  Fifteen grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive, besides a brother,  John Ransdell,  of Indianapolis.
          Mrs. Neal had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church since her youth.  Funeral arrangements will be announced by C. F. Fix & Son, funeral directors.

to Be This Afternoon

          Funeral services for  Mrs. Termelia Neal,  85, who died Monday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter,  Mr. and Mrs. George Bernardo,  of 48 John Street, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. today in the Fix & Son funeral home, with the Rev. Josephine B. Huffer officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary at any time.
* The date of the tombstone is 1853 (in lieu of 1853, above) and the name is spelled Permelia.

          Funeral services for  Mrs. Marguerite Neil  were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home, Dr. A. F. vonTobel, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating.  Burial was made in Forest Hill cemetery.

Died Sunday Evening After an Ill-
ness of Weeks

          Mrs. Marguerite Neil  died Sunday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of  Sarah Eck,  No. 20 south Pike street.  She had been ill for a long time with a complication of diseases.  Her son,  Earl,  is a member of Battery E, now in Germany.  He went with the other members of this company when it was organized.  Another son is  Clarence Neil,  of Shelby township.  Her daughters are  Mrs. Arnold Fogel  and  Miss Sarah Neil  of Shelby township.  Jacob Emrich  is a brother.  Mrs. Neil was born in this county and always lived here.

          Thomas M. Neal  died at his residence, No. 32 North Walnut street, at 4:10 p.m. Sunday April 1st, aged seventy years.  The remains will be buried in the City cemetery.  Services at the Christian church at 2:30 p.m., Rev. McHargue officiating.  Those wishing to view the remains will call at the house.  Deceased came to Shelbyville from Scott county, Kentucky in 1862.  He was a kind hearted man and always enjoyed the confidence of the entire community.  Some five years ago he suffered a paraletic stroke and never recovered from the same.  To the widow and his family the Democrat extends its sympathies.  D. B. Wilson & Son have charge of the remains.
