A GOOD WOMAN PASSED AWAY
----------
Mrs. Ann M. Nelson passed away on September 7th, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Alta Scudder, wife of Prof. Scudder, of Huntington, Indiana. The funeral was held at the Mt. Auburn Christian church, conducted by Elder William Mullendore, who paid a feeling tribute to her worth as a friend, a mother and a Christian.
Mrs. Nelson was the widow of the late Leander E. Nelson, former owner of the Cave Mill on Flat Rock. Four children were born to them, Mrs. Viola Vaughn of Bakersfield, California, Mrs. Valona Grant of Bloomington, Indiana, John A. Nelson of Veedersburg, Indiana, and Mrs. Alta Scudder of Huntington, Indiana. Truly a good woman has passed to the great beyond.
(Buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery)
