DEATH OF MRS. SAMUEL O'CONNOR

Mary Ann O'Connor, wife of Samuel O'Connor, died at her residence in this city at half past five o'clock Wednesday morning.
Deceased was born in Rathfriland, County Down, Ireland, June 19th, 1824, and was married in Philadelphia, on May 13th, 1849, and on April 4th, 1852 came with him to this city which has ever since been their home. In her death her husband loses the companion of his youth, and the comfort of his declining years; her children lose a kind and affectionate mother; the church a faithful, consistent and working member, and the poor a never failing friend, whose hand was ever ready to relieve their necessities, as was her ear to hear their tale of sorrow. Her demise is mourned by the whole community, whose sympathies are extended to her afflicted family.
