E. E. PECK DIES IN OKLAHOMA

Graveside rites
for Edwin Earl Peck, former local resident, will be held at Forest
Hill cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The services will be in
charge of the Murphy Mortuary.
Mr. Peck, who was 67,
died of a heart attack at his home in Tryon, Okla., Friday night. He was a
native of Rush county but resided here for several years before moving to the
western state.
He is survived by the
widow and a son and daughter, Howard Peck of Boston and
Lora, who resides in Arizona. Also surviving are three
grandchildren and two brothers, Alfred Dewey Peck of
Indianapolis, and Olin Peck of Florida.

The
body of James Peck, who died at the home of a sister in Lafayette Saturday
evening arrived here today and was taken to the home of Mr.
& Mrs. Fred Wiley, in Geneva.
Mr. Peck lost his wife in 1916, since which time he was not in good health. His age was sixty-five years and for
many years he was a resident of the south part of the county, where he was well known. The funeral services for Mr. Peck will be conducted at the Pleasant Grove church, east of Norristown, in Noble township Tuesday morning
at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Joseph McQueen will officiate. Burial will be made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery in charge
of Stewart & Fix.

daughter survive her.

Peck died at his residence No. 91
East Hendricks street, at 8:30 a.m. Monday September 13, of an abscess, aged 28 years, 6 months and 7 days. He leaves a wife and two children and one sister, Mrs. Pat Meloy, of this city. The deceased was a member in good standing of Kiowa Tribe No. 199, Improved Order Red Men under whose auspices the funeral will be held. Short funeral services will be held at the residence on Wednesday at 3 p.m., Elder Groom officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Remains and cortege in charge of Marshall G. Tindall.

a.m., corner Pike and Walker streets, aged sixty-five years, ten months, of erysipelas. Funeral at the house at
10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 1894. Interment in the Forest Hill cemetery, Rev. Farr officiating, M. G. Tindall, funeral
director. Deceased was a well-known veterinary surgeon, and had been with James Morrison's stable for some time.
He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Patrick Meloy.

DIED PECK -- February 6, 1875, at his residence
near Moscow, Rush County, Indiana, Joseph
Peck, aged 68 years. The deceased
lived some forty odd years near Moscow. He represented Rush County, in the state legislature some years ago. He was a genial, clever honest and upright citizen, and his loss will be sorely left by a large circle of friends and relation.
