RITES  SET  FOR
MRS.  PETERSON

          Mrs. Myrl Hazel Peterson, 72, Morristown, died Wednesday at the home of her niece,  Mrs. Richard Byrd,  with whom she resided.  She had been ill one week and death was attributed to a heart attack.
          Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carmony Funeral Home in Shelbyville with Rev. Archer Shirley officiating.  Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Friday and Eastern Star services will be conducted there at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
          Mrs. Peterson spent most of her life in the Fairland area and moved to Morristown in 1955.  She was a member of the Fairland Baptist Church and the Fairland Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
          Born in Brandywine Township May 1, 1897, the daughter of  John W. and Clara Ann (Bush) Fisher,  she was married to  Roy C. Peterson  on Dec. 24, 1919, and he died on Nov. 23, 1954.
          Also surviving are a sister,  Mrs. Ida M. Peterson,  Fairland, two other nieces and a nephew.

          Mrs. Myrl H. Peterson, 72, died at her home in Morristown at 10:50 a.m. today of an apparent heart attack.  She had been ill for one week.
          Services will be announced by the Carmony Funeral Home here.

Lewis F. Peterson, Age 79,
Dies After Having Been Ill Two Years.

FUNERAL  SUNDAY  MORNING
----------
          Lewis F. Peterson, 79 years old, died at his home in Noble township near the Shelby and Decatur county ine at seven o'clock this morning.  He had been sick for the last two years, his illness growing serious two weeks ago.
          Mr. Peterson was born in Franklin county, near Brookville, March 5, 1846 [?], and was the son of  Charles and Henrietta Peterson.  He was married to  Miss Margaret Eck  October 19. 1876, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary two years ago.
          Four children, three of them surviving, were born to Mr. and Mrs. Peterson:  William Peterson, of Shelbyville;  George, of Noble township, and  Harry, of Greensburg.  The widow and three grandchildren also survive.  Mr. Peterson also eaves two brothers and three sisters:  William Peterson, of Brookville;  Fred, of Connersville;  Mrs. Mary Miller, of Brookville;  Mrs. Rose Bowman, of Riley, O.;  Mrs. Thomas Ridenbach, of Batesville.
          Mr. Peterson had lived in the home where he died for the last 45 years.  He had been a member of the German Evangelical church of Union township since his confirmation in that church at the age of fourteen.
          The funeral service will be held in the Bethel Baptist church Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. D. E. Werner of the First Evangelical church of this city officiating.  The interment will be in the Milford cemetery, C. F. Fix and Son are the funeral directors.
