COUNTY FARMER DIED YESTERDAY

Died Monday Evening

John Reuter, age 75, widely known farmer of Shelby
county, died Monday evening at 5 o'clock at his home, two miles north of
Shelbyville on the Knightstown road. His death was caused by a
complication of diseases.
Mr. Reuter had been a resident of Shelby county for
fifty years. He was born October 11, 1856. He was a member of the
St. Joseph Catholic church here. On February 14, 1881, Mr. Reuter
was married to Elizabeth Braunagel. She died December 20,
1913.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary Reuter, at
home, and three step-children, Mrs. Mary Bath, of Tipton, and Conrad and
Andrew Braunagel of Shelby county.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning
at 9 o'clock at the St. Joseph church here, the Rev. Father J. C. Rager, pastor
of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vincent cemetery
east of Shelbyville, Ralph J. Edwards in charge. Please omit
flowers.
