Lenora Richards, 92, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, Greenfield.
Born May 11, 1911, in Shelbyville, d/o Jesse C. and Hazel (Riser)
Tucker.
Married Leslie L. Richards on Aug. 6, 1943, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors: 1 daughter, Doris Long (husband, Jerry) of Fairland;
two sisters, Thelma Merry of Shelbyville and Irene Wilkinson
of Falmouth; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one son, Ed L. Richards; three sisters, Fern
Capicci, Mary Taylor and Louise Theobald; and two brothers,
Charles Tucker and Paul Tucker.
Homemaker.
Member of Kingston Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary No. 5584, and past president of the Decatur County Fair Board.

LOCAL SURGEON'S
FATHER DIES

O.E.Richard, father of Dr. Norman Richard of this city, died suddenly Sunday morning at the home of a brother, Arthur Richard in Fort Wayne. Mr. Richard, who would have marked his 86th birthday Tuesday, was a former resident of Fort Wayne, but had lived with the son here since last April. He was a 33rd degree Mason and had gone to Fort Wayne last Wednesday to attend a Scottish Rite convocation.
Surviving with the sone here and the brother in Fort Wayne, are another son, Robert S. Richard of Indianapolis; two grandsons; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral rites will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Chalfant and Perry Funeral Home in Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Fort Wayne.
