          Cecil L. Rogers,  75, 421 E. Franklin St., died at 11:20 p.m. Friday at Major Hospital where he had been admitted that morning after becoming ill suddenly.  He had resided in Shelbyville until moving to Indianapolis in 1962 and then moved back here in 1973.  Mr. Rogers served with the Army in the European campaign during World War II and belong to the Vine Street United Methodist Church.  Born July 27, 1903 in Needham, he was a son of  Samuel and  Catherine (Swango) Rogers.
          Surviving are a daughter,  Mrs. Joanne Richey,  Greensburg, and a son,  Donald Rogers  of Arizona.  Three brothers and two sisters preceded in death.  Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Murphy Mortuary with the Rev. Francis Applegate officiating.  Burial will be in Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Sunday.

          Peru--- Funeral services for  Thomas Rogers,  62, 115 N. Hood St., will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Carmony Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Burial will be in the Forest Hills Cemetery there.  The Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home directed the arrangements.  Rogers died 1:10 p.m. Monday in the Dukes Memorial Hospital following a two-year illness.  He was a carpenter and had lived in Peru two years, moving here from Louisiana.  He was born at Robertown, Ark., March 7, 1910.  Surviving are the widow,  Tilda Rogers, Osceola, Ark.; three sons and three daughters including  Lawrence Rogers,  Peru; two brothers and 15 grand children.

FUNERAL  RITE  TO  BE  TUESDAY

          Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Rogers, 46, wife of James Rogers, who died Saturday at 1:00 a.m. at her home at 233 West South Street, will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.  The Rev. Clement Zepf will officiate and burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery in charge of Loren H. Murphy. Mrs. Rogers was born June 30, 1895, the daughter of  Louie and Carrie Bogeman.  She was a member of the St. Joseph church, the St. Ann Altar Society, the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Members of the Legion Auxiliary held services at the late home Sunday night and the Altar Society will conduct services this evening at 7:30.  She is survived by the husband and mother and one brother, Lawrence Bogeman, of Detroit, Michigan.

Former Resident Passed Away
In Indianapolis Monday

          Mrs. Beatrice Kenney Rogers, wife of  Herbert Rogers, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home, 117 Berry Avenue, Monday evening, after a short illness.  Short funeral services will be held at her late home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in Memorial Park cemetery.  Mrs. Rogers was a former resident of this city and is the daughter of  Mrs. Pearl Kenney, 120 East Broadway.

DIED  AT  INDIANAPOLIS

          Pasco T. Rogers, forty-nine years old, died at his home in Indianapolis, Tuesday, from injuries suffered in an accident several weeks ago, when Mr. Rogers was employed by the city of Indianapolis.  Carmony Brothers, of Union township, undertakers, are in charge of the funeral and burial which will be held Friday at Indianapolis.  Mr. Rogers was known in this community.

          Died - - at Connersville, Mr William P. Rogers, printer.  He was lately a resident of this place and left on a visit to Connersville with the expectation of returning in a few weeks, but died.
