Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born June 17, 1913, Casey, Illinois, to W. G. and Minnie Peek
Thompson. Married Otis A. Samuels, October 17, 1941.
Survivors: husband; niece, Peggy Cliadakis (husband, William)
of New York City; one nephew Thomas Graham (wife, Roses) of
Washington, D. C.; five great-nieces and nephews, Lisa Cliadakis,
Christopher Cliadakis, Matthew Graham; and two great-great-hephews,
Lukas Hemmer and Samuel Cliadakis.
Preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Graham and Margaret
Swift.
Lived in Waldron and Shelbyville before moving to Madison County in 1936.
Taught in Frankton and Lapel High Schools. Retired in 1963 from Anderson
School system.
Graduated from Indiana University.
Member of Frankton Christian Church.
50-year member and former worthy matron Eastern Star No. 501; Indiana and
Madison County Retired Teachers Associations; lifetime member of Community
Hospital Auxillary; Indiana University Alumni Association and its Emeritus Club.
