William H. Schacht, 88, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001.October 1, 2001

Born March 29, 1913, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Henry and Katherine Schacht. Married Katherine Reba Walton. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Katy Raisor of Shelbyville; one son, Bill Schacht of Shelbyville; one stepson, Mike Aldridge of Shelbyville; one sister, Henrietta Simon of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Truck driver for Kains Motor Freight.
Member of Shelbyville Eagles Lodge.
Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., with the Rev. Rod Beheler officiating.
Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery.
