Late Saturday Evening of
Chronic Gastritis
----------
Michael D. Schneid, for a quarter of a century one of the best known residents of Waldron, died at 9:50 o'clock Saturday night at his home in that place. His death was caused by chronic gastritis. Mr. Schneid was born June 24, 1857, in Dearborn county. For a time he lived in Cincinnati, but for 25 years he had lived in Waldron.
Mr. Schneid was a member of the Catholic church at St. Paul and had been a member of the church since childhood. He was an honored and respected resident of the community in which he lived, and his death sheds a gloom over the town and vicinity.
