Mrs. Leon Caroline Simon, 81, 5044 Bay St., Indianapolis, who died Sunday.
Services were held this morning at St. Vincent Catholic Church.  
Burial:  St. Vincent Cemetery, with Murphy Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Native of Shelby County.
Formerly operated the LaRue Beauty Shop, Indianapolis.
Member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Indianapolis.
Born June 19, 1895, the daughter of Adam and Caroline (Schott)  Zetelmaier.
Married to Hugo Simon, who preceded in death, as did five brothers and sisters.
Only immediate survivors are four nieces, Mrs. Eugene (Imogene) Stadtmiller and  Mrs. Marjorie Kafoure, both of Shelbyville,  Mrs. Wilbur (Eileen) Clapp, R.R.1, Waldron, and  Mrs. Ramilda Merchen, Bloomington.

          Mrs. Simons,  wife of  J. S. Simons,  died at their home in Edinburg at five o'clock Tuesday evening, November 5, after a brief illness at the age of sixty-eight years.  Besides the husband she leaves ten children, three daughters and seven sons.  Funeral services will be held in the First M. E. church in Edinburg at ten o'clock Thursday morning, November 7, the Rev. Mr. Willis officiating.  Interment in the Edinburg cemetery in charge of Marshall G. Tindall.
