Mrs. Theresa Slusser Dead.

Aged Lady Died This Morning --
Was Native of Germany

After an illness of two
months, Mrs. Theresa Slusser died this morning at 2:50
o'clock at her home, 216 west Broadway. Her death was due to an attack of
la grippe from which she has been suffering recently. She was aged
seventy-three years, eleven months and six days.
Theresa Slusser,
nee Hulsman, was born May 31, 1833, at Borringhausen, Amt
Damme, Groszherzogthun, Oldenburg, Germany. She came to this country in
1851 and was married to Peter Slusser in 1857. He died
in 1894. Three children survive her. These are Louis
A., John F. and Rose M. Slusser.
The funeral services will
be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic church Wednesday morning at ten
o'clock. Those wishing to view the remains may call at the residence
Tuesday afternoon or on Wednesday morning until eight-thirty. Interment
will be in the St. Vincent's cemetery in charge of D. B. Wilson & Son.
