DIED -- At her home in Hanover township,
Shelby County, Indiana, on April 3, 1875 --
----------
Mrs. Annie Stone, aged 29 years, 9 months and 15 days. Sister Stone was a daughter of John Buck, Esq. and was married to Henry Stone Oct. 19, 1871. She obeyed the gospel when in her
12th year, and was baptized by Elder A. J. Hobbs, now of Cincinnati. She united with the Christian
Church at Hanover, of which she remained an exemplary and devoted member till her death. She
leaves a motherless babe, her husband, father, several brothers and a large circle of friends to mourn
her departure. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, in the Hanover Church, and were
attended by a very large concourse of the citizens of her neighborhood who thus attested their appreciation of her worth, and their sympathy with the bereaved family. Blessed are the dead who die in
the Lord from henceforth; yea saith the spirit that they may rest from their labors, and their works do
follow them. J. A. ROBERTS
