----------
Shortly after suffering a sudden heart attack, Miss Caroline Thatcher, 81 years old, well known in the northeast part of the county, died this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sullivan, south of Gwynneville. She had not been ill and her death caused a great shock to the relatives and friends.

She had frequently visited the section previous to her residence there and was very well known in that neighborhood. She was a member of the Morristown M. P. church. Her birthplace was in Ohio county.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the Sullivan home, the Rev. Mr. Baker officiating. Burial will be made in the Asbury cemetery.
