Charles Allen "Chuck" Torbitt III, 51, a former resident of Fountain, died Sept 27, 1996, in Sanger, Calif. He was employed by Unisys Corporation, working in systems development and management.Colorado Springs, Colorado

Memorial services have already been held. Internment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Fountain.
Mr. Torbit was born March 8, 1945, in Colorado Springs to Charles and Neva (Christoffer) Torbit. His mother lives in Fountain.
He was married in November 1970 in Orosi, Calif. to Marilyn Bailey, who lives in Sanger.
He is survived by two sons, David of Clovis, Calif. and Damien of Sanger; two daughters, Anjeannette and Nicole, both of Sanger; a brother, Stephen of Golden; and two sisters, Sharon Sitzman of Topeka, Kan. and Cathy Murphy of Fountain. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Torbit graduated from Fountain-Fort Carson High School in 1963. He attended college in California.
