          Beatrice Ruth (City) Haldeman Tow,  79, passed away at her home in Homeland, Calif., on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007.  Born April 3, 1927 in Clinton, she was the daughter of  Elmer Cleo and  Penelope Keziah "Nellie" (Byers) City.  She was a practical nurse for many years.  After retiring, she worked at Target.
          Survivors include:  her husband,  Thomas Edward Tow  of Homeland, Calif.; daughters,  Nancy Jeanne Reinke Walker  of Downey, Calif.,  Susan Yvonne Luce Fowler  of Bloomfield; a son  John Dewey Haldeman  of Worthington; eight grandchildren,  Lori Lee Reinke,  Darren Dean Reinke,  Dennis Grant Reinke,  John Alphonso Haldeman,  Dustin Vance Haldeman,  Christopher Matthew Haldeman,  Ryan Terry Haldeman,  all of California; and  Blythe Leanne (Luce) Pavlovsky  of Sugar Land, Texas.  A sister,  Emagene Inman Disney  of Martinsville; a step-great-grandaughter [sic—granddaughter],  Bethany Marie Soriano,  of Bloomfiled [sic—Bloomfield]; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son,  Robert Terry Haldeman,  on Sept. 15,1991; her parents; and two brothers,  Allen Benson City  and  Damon Free City.
          Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Cypress, Calif.  Services will be at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

          Beatrice Ruth (City) Haldeman Tow,  79, died at her home in Homeland, California on Monday, January 22, 2007.  She was the daughter of  Elmer Cleo and  Penelope Keziah "Nellie" (Byers) City,  born April 3, 1927 in Clinton, Indiana.  Bea was a Practical Nurse for many years.  She loved working in the hospitals and loved her patients.  She enjoyed her many crafts, including many years pouring and painting her own ceramics.  She loved to play Bingo.  She joined T.O.P.S. and worked very hard for the organization, holding offices for many years.  She became a K.O.P. in 2003.  More than anything, she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
Survivors include her husband,  Thomas Edward Tow  of Homeland, California, daughters  Nancy Jeanne Reinke Walker  of Downey, California,  Susan Yvonne Luce Fowler,  and husband  John,  of Bloomfield, Indiana and son  John Dewey Haldeman,  and wife  Jackie,  of Worthington, Indiana.  Eight grandchildren,  Lori Lee Reinke,  Darren Dean Reinke,  Dennis Grant Reinke,  John Alphonso Haldeman,  Dustin Vance Haldeman,  Christopher Matthew Haldeman,  Ryan Terry Haldeman,  all of California, and  Blythe Leanne (Luce) Pavlovsky  of Sugar Land, Texas.  A sister,  Emagene Inman Disney  of Martinsville, Indiana, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son,  Robert Terry Haldeman,  on September 15, 1991, her parents, two brothers,  Allen Benson City  and  Damon Free City.
          Visitation will be on Sunday, January 28, from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.  Services will be on Monday, January 29, at 8:30 a.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn, Cypress, California next to her son, Terry.
