Martin "Red" Trimnell, 90, of Hope, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001.
Born April 25, 1911, in Bartholomew County, s/o  Clarence  and  Sarah (Trimble) Trimnell.  Married Ruth Andrews on June 6, 1933; she preceded him in death on Oct. 31, 1979.
Survivors include three daughters, Sarah M. Harvey  and  Jo Ann Essex, both of Hope, and  Janet Crawford  of California; one son, Tom Trimnell  of Shelbyville; two brothers, Merle Trimnell  of Edinburgh and  Lowell Trimnell  of Shelbyville; one sister, Mary Ann Anderson  of Shelbyville; one half brother, Ronald Trimnell  of Knightstown; two half sisters, Marge Brammer  of Greenfield, and  Nancy Sparks  of Arkansas; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Arthur Trimnell,  Harold Trimnell,  George W. Trimnell,  Ora Alvin Trimnell  and  Clarence Edward Trimnell.
Lifelong farmer and attended Cincinnati Art College.
Norman Funeral Home, 604 Main St. in Hope.
Burial will be in Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock.

Ollie E. (Cooper) Trimnell, 93, Waldron, died Wednesday, Waldron.
Born March 27, 1906, in Bartholomew County, d/o Samuel and Letha (Chrisman) Cooper.
Married George W. Trimnell on March 13, 1929, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1991.
Homemaker.
Organist for the Geneva United Methodist Church, where she was a member.  Previously, she had been an organist for the St. Louis Crossing United Methodist Church, Bartholomew County, for 40 years.
Survivors:  son, Mahlon Trimnell, Flat Rock; a sister, Vesta Collins, Greensburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Norman Funeral Home, Hope, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Geneva United Methodist Church with the Revs. Cliff Bunch and Daryl Gressel officiating.
Burial: Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
