WILLIAM  TULL  DIED
AT  FAIRLAND  TODAY
----------
Prominent Sugar Creek Farmer Passed Away
At Home Of His Daughter, Mrs. Melvin Alexander
----------
William Tull, age seventy-two, a prominent Shelby county farmer, died at 6:10 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin Alexander, at Fairland.  Death resulted from cancer of the stomach, from which he had been suffering for some time.  He was taken critically ill three weeks ago and was brought to the home of his daughter at that time for medical treatment.  His condition grew rapidly worse, however, and his death has been expected for several days.
Mr. Tull had spent the greater part of his life on a farm in Sugar Creek township and was widely known in the northern part of the county.  He took an active interest in public affairs and was a citizen of which any community might well be proud.
He is survived by his wife, two children, Cassie Tull and  Mrs. [Ora] Alexander, both residents of Fairland, and by two brothers, David Tull and  Dr. Tull, of Fairland.  He was a brother of the late  Mrs. Henry [Mary) Doble, of this city, and an uncle of Frank Doble and Miss Addie Doble.
The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Fairland M.E. church, Rev. A.R. Jones officiating.  Interment will be made in the Fairland cemetery.
