MR. VAN DUYN

George E. Van Duyn, 60, Morristown, died Sunday at 6:15 p.m. in Hancock County Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health several years. A resident of Hancock County most of his life, Mr. Van Duyn had been an auto mechanic early in life and a trucker until ill health forced his retirement.Monday, October 20, 1975

Born in Shirley, Feb. 14, 1915, Mr. Van Duyn was the son of William and Mattie (Robinson) Van Duyn. He married Fanny Boucher and she survives. Also surviving are six children, George E. Van Duyn, Jr. of Shelbyville, William Van Duyn, of Greenfield, Mrs. Patricia Meece of Shirley, Mrs. Mary Lou Dudley, of Indianapolis, Jerry Wayne Van Duyn of Fresno, Calif., and Dennis Lee Van Duyn, at home; 26 grandchildren, three great-[ my copy ends here].
