Relatives Here Get Word of Ed Win-
gate's Death.

          Ed Wingate,  who was well known here and who has a number of relatives in this city, passed away yesterday at the Columbus hospital.  He was sixty-eight years of age and had been ill a number of weeks.  Mr. Wingate was an uncle of  Misses Eva, Belle and  Etta Wingate,  W. E. Brown  and  William Worden  of this city.  Smith Wingate,  father of the deceased, settled in Shelbyville about a century ago.  His death occurred several years ago.

          The following persons will act as pall-bearers at the burial of  Mrs. Mary Wingate  to-morrow afternoon:  J. M. Elliott,  Harry Whitcomb,  L. T. Michener,  D. L. Conrey,  J. L. Brown,  James Magill,  C. F. Webster  and  Philip Weiner,  the last four being appointed by the A.O.U.W., of which society the husband of the deceased is a member.

          The funeral services of  Mrs. Mary K. Wingate  will be held at her late residence, on East Mechanic street, at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon, Rev. Sampson Tincher officiating.

          The funeral services of   Mrs. Mary Wingate   took place at her late residence on East Mechanic street at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. Sampson Tincher officiating.   The remains were followed to the grave by a large number of people.   Mrs. Wingate, during her life, made a friend whenever she made an acquaintance, and her untimely death is mourned by all.
