John Wingo Dies, Funeral
in Missouri

John Wingo, age sixty-seven, operator of the Five Points Cafe on south Miller St., died at his home at 408 Miller avenue Sunday morning at 11:45 o'clock of cardiac asthma. He had been in failing health for the past six months and in a serious condition for the past 10 days.
Mr. Wingo was born in Marshfield, Mo., on January 3, 1877, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wingo. He was married to Estella Terhune in June, 1937.
Surviving with the widow are three children by a former marriage, Mrs. Lovie Johnson, of Venetia, Cal.; Dorsey Wingo, of Fairland, Cal., and Vernie Wingo, of Rogersville, Mo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and four brothers and four sisters, all of Missouri.
Mr. Wingo was a member of the Marshfield Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and the body will be taken to Marshfield, Mo., for funeral services and burial. Friends may call at the C. F. Fix mortuary until noon today.
