LEONARD  WISKER
DIES  AT  HOME

          Leonard Wisker,  65, a native of Shelby County, died suddenly at his home, 1825 Glendale Ave., Evansville, on Monday.  He had not bee ill.  The son of the late  John and  Julia (Cord) Wisker,  Mr. Wisker was born on April 1, 1899.
          Surviving with the widow,  Mrs. Nettie (Speaker) Wisker,  are three brothers,  Edward Wisker  of Shelbyville,  Arthur Wisker  of Shelby County and  George Wisker  of White Plains, N.Y.  Also surviving is one sister,  Mrs. Clarence Weintraut  of St. Paul.
          Burial will be in Evansville.

Rites for Mrs. Anna Wisker
To Be Saturday

          Mrs. Anna Wisker,  age 68, lifelong resident of Shelby county, succumbed at her home in Prescott at 6:25 a.m. Thursday.  Ill for the past three months, death was due to complications following a cerebral hemorrhage.
          Mrs. Wisker was born in this county on December 3, 1875, the daughter of  William and  Caroline Hulsman Rosenfeld.  On October 16, 1895, she was united in marriage to  Anthony Wisker, Jr.,  who preceded her in death in 1939.  Surviving are five children;  Mrs. Leo Cord,  of Addison township;  Mrs. Thomas Gallagher,  of Indianapolis;  Mrs. Edmond Kelly,  of Dayton, O.;  Anthony B. Wisker,  of Shelby township, and  Urban Wisker,  also of Shelby township; one brother,  Joseph Rosenfeld,  of Liberty township; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
          She was a member of St. Anne's Altar Society and the St. Vincent Catholic Church, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m., with Rev. John Bankowski officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Vincent cemetery in charge of Charles M. Ewing.  Friends may call at the late home.

Anthony Wisker, 73, Well
Known Farmer, Victim
of Heart Disease

          Anthony Wisker,  seventy-three years old, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday at his home in Prescott.  Death was due to heart trouble and followed a serious illness of ten weeks.  He was born May 20, 1866, in Franklin county, the son of  Anton and  Catherine (Wanstrath) Wisker.
          On October 16, 1896, he was married to  Anna Rosenfeld  at the St. Vincent church, and to this union was born six children, five of whom survive with the widow and aged mother,  Mrs. Katherine Wisker,  who is ninety-seven years old.  She made her home with her son.  Children surviving are:  Mrs. Leo Cord  and  Urban Wisker,  of Shelby county;  Mrs. Thomas Gallagher  and  Mary Anne Wisker,  of Indianapolis, and  Anthony Wisker,  of this city.  He also leaves one brother,  John  and one sister,  Mrs.Andy Runnebohm,  both of this city.
          Mr.Wisker had lived in the county all his married life, coming to this county from Franklin county.  He was a successful farmer.  Mr. Wisker was a member of the St. Vincent church where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. with Rev. Henry Trapp officiating.  Charles M. Ewing is in charge of burial, which will be in the church cemetery.  Friends may call at the late home at any time.
