GEORGE W. R. YOST IS DEAD
IN CALIFORNIA

          Word has been received here of the death of George W. R. Yost, age 89, a former Shelby county resident, who died at his home in San Francisco Thursday.  Mr. Yost was born in Connersville and worked with the Edison Western Union in Indianapolis before moving to California.  His wife died several years ago, and he is survived by a son, Bert Yost, of San Francisco.  The body will be brought to Shelbyville for burial in the Boggstown cemetery, and arrangements will be announced later by Charles M. Ewing, funeral director.
