Zetlmaier Rites Monday
Waldron Native, 73, was Former Teacher

          Mrs. Maud Zetlmaier, 73 died at her home on R.R.1, Waldron, at 8:00 a.m. today.  She had been in poor health 14 years and critically ill the past several months.
          Services will be held at St. Vincent Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Anthony Seger officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Vincent Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary here after 2:00 p.m. Sunday.  The Rosary will be recited there at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
          Mrs. Zetlmaier was born in Waldrom on August 9, 1894, the daughter of John and Katherine (Garrett) Berauer.  She was married to Edward Zetlmaier in Shelby County on February 8, 1916, and he preceded in death.  She was a member of the St. Vincent Church and formerly taught in several schools of the county.
          Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W. R. Clapp of Waldron and Mrs. M.E. Kafoure of Shelbyville; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Leffler, St. Paul, and a brother, Omer Berauer, Waldron.  One son preceded in death.

EDWARD ZETLMAIER
Mr. Zetlmaier Dies in Hospital
Rites Monday for Waldron Area Farmer

          Edward Zetlmaier, 73, of R.R.1, Waldron, died at 2:00 a.m. today at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis, where he had been a patient since Monday.  He had been ill for six weeks.
          Born in Shelby County on 23 July 1892, Mr. Zetlmaier was the son of  Adam and Caroline (Schott) Zetlmaier.  On February 18th, 1916, he married Maud Berauer, who survives.
          Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. R. Clapp of Waldron and  Mrs. M.E. Kafoure of Shelbyville, and a sister, Mrs. Leon Simon of Indianapolis.  A son preceded in death.
          Mr. Zetlmaier was engaged in farming and was a member of the St. Vincent Catholic Church.
          Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with Rev. Anthony Seger officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary after 2:00 p.m. Sunday.  The Rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

          Adam Zetlmaier, retired farmer and one of the community's most widely known citizens, died at nine o'clock Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Deitzer, 407 West Franklin street, following several weeks illness due to senility.  Mr. Zetlmaier had been critically ill during the last two days and little hope was held for his recovery.
          For many years he had been engaged in farming in the Prescott community and he had enjoyed splendid success in his chosen vocation.  He retired from active farming a few years ago when his health becaem impaired and for some time had been residing at the home ofhis daughter in this city.
          Funeral services are to be conducted at nine o'clock.  Monday morning from the St. Joseph Catholic church in this city with the Rev. John C. Rager, pastor of the church officiating.  The body will be placed in a crypt at the mausoleum north of this city on State Road 29, with Ralph J. Edwards, funeral director, in charge.
          Mr. Zetlmaier was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zetlmaier and was born in Cincinnati, 1 Jun 1854, being at the time of his death 77 years and 10 days. In 1877 he was united in marriage with Miss Caroline Schott, whose death occurred in 1925.  Mr. and Mrs. Zetlmaier were the parents of six children, four of whom survive.  They are Edward Zetlmaier, in Waldron, Mrs. Edward Firsich of Batesville, Mrs. Deitzer, at whose home he died, and Mrs. Leone Zetlmaier of Indianapolis.  He is survived by seven grandchildren.
          For many years he had been a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in this city and he also was prominent in public and agriculture affairs of the community.

DEATH  OCCURRED  SUDDENLY  AT  HOME
Mrs. Adam Zettelmeier Died at 8 o'clock This Morning at Her Home

          Mrs. Caroline Zettelmeier, wife of  Adam Zettelmeier, died suddenly at 8 o'clock this morning at the family home, south of Prescott.  Death was caused from acute indigestion after an illness of half an hour.  She became ill while out in the yard at her home and died in a short time after returning to the house.
          The deceased was sixty-nine years old at the time of death.  She was born in Dearborn county on Jun 1856 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schott.  She was married to Adam Zettelmeier and to this union four children were born.  She was a devoted member of the St. Vincent Catholic church and the Ladies' Altar Society of the church.
          Surviving are the husband, Adam Zettelmeier, three daughters, Mrs. Edward Firsich, of Liberty township, Miss Flo and Miss Leonisaia, both at home; one son, Edward Zettelmeier, of near Prescott; six granchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles Hettesheimer, of Cincinnati and one brother, Joseph Schott, also of Cincinnati.
          Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Joseph Catholic church in this city with burial in the St. Joseph Catholic church in this city with burial in the St. Vincent cemetery.  The time of the funeral will be announced on Saturday by Charles M. Ewing, undertaker in charge.

FUNERAL  FOR  MONDAY

          Funeral services for Mrs. Adam Zettelmeier, who died at her home south of Prescott, Friday morning, will be conducted at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the St. Joseph church with the Rev. Laugel, of the St. Vincent church, Rev. John C. Rager and Rev. Henry Ebnet, officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Vincent cemetery, east of the city in charge of Charles M. Ewing.
