Son of  Elijah Graham and Jane Abney,  Tighlman was born 15 June 1822 in Kentucky.  He died 12 June 1892 in Shelby County, Indiana, and is buried in Brandywine cemetery.  Tighlman married  Nancy Jane Rosell,  daughter of   Elijah Rosell and Sarah Houston.  Nancy was born 23 Oct 1823 in Fayette County, Kentucky.  She died 28 Feb 1899 in Shelby County, Indiana, and is in buried Brandywine cemetery.  Tighlman and Nancy were married 24 Mar 1841 in Gallatin County, Kentucky.           Jane Abney, Tighlman's mother, was born about 1796 in Amherst County, Virginia, and is buried in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana.   She married Elijah Graham, 3 Feb 1815, in Estill County, Kentucky.
