Leonard  vs  King



RECOGNIZANCE  BOND.

          We   I  Grafton J King  severally acknowledge ourselves bound unto the State of Indiana, in the penal sum of   Five Hundred   dollars, if the said  Horace F King  shall fail to appear before   Erwin W Madison  a Justice of the Peace of   Shelby   County, at his office therein, at   10   o'clock A.M., on the   4th   day of   Dec   1907, to answer the charge of Bastardy now pending before said Justice and abide his judgment thereon.
          Witness, our hands and seals, this 23rd day of Nov 1907

          Personally appeared before me   Grafton J. King  who, being duly sworn, upon his oath deposes and says he is the owner in fee simple of unincumbered real estate situate in Shelby County, Indiana, of the value of  $   4000,00   Four Thousand Dollars,
          Subscribed and sworn to before me, this 23rd day of Nov 1907

State of Indiana,   Shelby County, ss:
To any Constable of Shelby County:

          You are hereby commanded to arrest   Horace F King   and bring him forthwith before me, at my office, to answer the complaint of  Gertrude E Leonard   wherein she complains under oath that she is pregnant with bastard child, and the   Horace F. King   is the father thereof.

and have you then and there this writ.
