          In the matter of the adoption of Eddy B. Noe
To the Honorable D.D. Banty sole Judge of the Circuit Court of 16th Judicial district
                    The undersigned would respectfully show that one  Eddie B. Noe  is a resident of Moral township, Shelby County & State of Indiana, and is of the age of less the four months, having been born at said County on the 15th day of February A.D. 1875, that he has no mother living that he was a bastard & has no father known to your petitioner that he lives with your petitioner & has all his life except the first three weeks, that he has no property whatever & your petitioner asks that the said minor child be adopted as his child & that the name of said minor child be that of  Eddie B. Noe, being the sir name of your petitioner.
