                I  Frances Spurling  Widow of  Jesse Spurling  late of our County and now deceased, do hereby renounce my right to execute the Will of said Decedent and relinquish my right thereto, to such person as you may appoint Administrator with the Will arranged of the Estate of the said Jesse Spurling Died- October 31, 1870.

                Be it Remembered That on this 10th day of November 1870,  Aaron Fix  personally came before the undersigned, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Shelby County, who being duly sworn by said Clerk, deposes and says that Jesse Spurlin, departed this life testate at Shelby County, Indiana, on the 15th day of October 1870, that decedent left a personal estate to be administered of the probable value of fifteen hundred Dollars, as he is informed and believes, and the Executrix appointed by the will of the Testator has relinquished her right to execute said will.

            Aaron Fix administrator of said Estate now shares to the court that in pursuance of all order made at the last term, he proceeded to offer for sale the fifteen shares of stock in the Edinburg Mt Auburn and Lewis Creek Turnpike for sale, and did on the 9th day of November 1872, sell the said at private sale to John Clayton for the price and sum of ninety five Dollars; They bring the highest and best price that could be had for the same, and the full appraised value thereof: which sale he asks may be confirmed.

The following are the accounts of the said Aaron Fix as the administrator of said estate now reordered by James B.V. Fix the administrator of the Estate of the said Aaron Fix who is now deceased.
The said James B.V. Fix now shows to the court that the said Aaron Fix as such administrator had in his ***** on the 12th day of March 1872 was shown by his loss report of that date on file of the assets of said estate this sum ($64.77, 95.00) he received from sale of stock in the Lewis Creek & Edinburg T.P Co. ($6.00) Interest Collected Amount of Charges ($165.77).
Said James B. V. Fix further shows to the court that the said Aaron Fix is entitled to credit for the following payments on account of said estate to wit:

"     4  Allowed Administrator 67.50

He also shows that the said Aaron Fix as such administrator delivered to the widow of said testator the household and kitchen furniture and the money on hand and notes for money due and owing to said testator as bequeathed to her by said last will and testament and he files her receipt for the same marked number 5, and he now brings said sum of forty four Dollars and nineteen cents into Court and pays the same to the Clerk thereof, and he ask that this be token as a final settlement of the administration of said Estate by the said Aaron Fix now deceased.
