           Oct Term 1876

            John Sedgwick represents & Shows to the Court that Lucinda Vance departed this life testate before the first day of August 1876 while a resident of Shelby county in the State of Indiana and left a personal estate of the probable value of one hundred and fifty dollars that no Letters of Administration has been taken upon her estate That said Sedgwick is a resident of said County and he asks the Court to appoint him as Administrator upon the Estate of said decedent.                                     John R.
