The undersigned, applicant for letters of Guardianship on the persons and estates of
Mary E. Cory
William R. Cory
Clarissa M. Cory
Jane Stone
Emma Stone

minor heirs of Arthur C. Cory, late of Shelby County, Indiana: said minors reside in Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and are the joint owners of Real Estate situate in said County, of the probable value of  [this was left blank] Dollars, which will rent annually for about the sum of [also left blank] Dollars. Said Wards also own no personal property at present.

          James L. Keaton, being duly sworn, says that the material facts contained in the above statement and application for Letters of Guardianship on the persons and estates of the persons therein named, are correct and true, as he verily believes, and further saith not.

To the honorable judge of the Shelby Circuit Court.
The undersigned Henry C. Stone, Guardian of Mary E. Cory, William R. Cory and Clarissa M. Cory, minor heirs of Arthur O. Cory, deceased, would respectfully request to said Court that no money or other means has come into his hand belonging to said wards, and he would respectfully resign the further guardianship of said minors and request the appointment of James L. Keaton.

          To the Honorable the Judge of the Shelby Circuit Court, Indiana.

          The undersigned, Henry C. Stone, would respectfully represent that one  Ambrose  P. Stone,  the father of the undersigned, was the guardian of  Mary E. Cory,  William  R. Cory  and  Clarissa  M. Cory, minor heirs of  Arthur O. Cory, deceased.   The undersigned would further show that said Ambrose P. Stone departed this life in the 16th day of September, 1873 and by his last report made on the 4th day of March, 1873, it shows that the said Stone was not chargeable with any assets of said minors, and the undersigned does not know of the said Ambrose P. Stone having received any moneys for said wards from the time he made his last report and the time of his death. The undersigned would further show that as he is [can’t read this word] and believes said minors are entitled to a certain portion from the United States, the object therefore
of taking out letters is for the purpose to draw the server, the undersigned would therefore respectfully ask to be appointed their
Guardian.
