Comes now
the said Mary Ann Whiteman minor heir of Bishop
Whiteman deceased over the age of Fourteen years of age
and asks the court to appoint Henry Johnston Guardian of her Estate
and the premises being seen It is ordered adjudged and decreed by
the Court now here that the said Henry Johnston is hereby appointed Guardian of
the Estate of the said Mary Ann Whiteman minor heir as aforesaid during her
minority.
And the said
Henry Johnston here now in his own proper person files bond in the penal sum of
Twelve hundred Dollars with Robert Rutherford and Thomas
Thornburg as Security and takes the oath as required by the Statue in
that behalf made and provided as Guardian as aforesaid.
