Deed Book 57 page 230-233

            In the name of God I Isaac Wilson of the County of Marion and State of Indiana Considering the uncertainty of life and being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be the name of Almighty God for the Same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

First I commanded my Soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial nothing doubting but that I shall receive the Same again at the general Resurrection day by the Mighty power of God. And as touching all worldly goods which it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath in the following manner and form.

First I give and devise unto my Eight eldest Children hereafter named towit:  William Wilson,  Polly Harding wife of  Thomas Harding,  John Wilson,  Joshua Wilson,  Grover Wilson,  Jacob Wilson,  Robert Wilson  and  Katharine Wilson wife of  Gideon Wilson  and all the following described land together with two bonds or obligations herein described towit: the East half of the North West quarter of section number four township number ten of range five and  East half of the South East quarter of section thirty two in Township Eleven of Range five and the North East quarter of section four in Township ten of Range five lying in the State of Indiana and land District of Brookville on the waters of Driftwood Fork of White River. I also give and bequeath unto my sons and daughters above named as joint heirs or Claimants one bond on John F. Jack of the State of Tennessee for one Thousand acres of good land to be laid out in a place commonly Called Jacks Purchase made of the Cherokee Indians for which he was to make me a good title so soon as the Indian title became extinct. And for which he has received three hundred thirty three 1/3 Dollars the purchase money for the same. Also on note of hand drawn on Isaiah Danford on which a part remains unpaid and Credits given not Collected and whatsoever shall or may be collected on such bond or note to be equally divided among the aforenamed eight Children after paying all costs or expenses to the William Wilson who I hereby appoint agent for the recovery of said wastings which now ly in his possession as also to dispose of the aforementioned lands to the best advantage and then to make equal distribution of the whole amount which remains after his legal charges are satisfied The same to be by them and theirs enjoyed forever

Secondly I do give and devise unto my beloved wife  Sarah Wilson  The  North East quarter of Section thirty two in Township Eleven and Range five  in the District of Lands sold at Brookville and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging by her to be disposed of at her pleasure and the amount to be vested in her for the use of raising and educating  Lorenzo Dow Wilson  and  Westly Wilson  Elizabeth Wilson  and  Patsey Wilson  no minor children I also give and devise unto my wife Sarah Wilson all the equal part to half of fractional  Section number three in Township number fifteen of Range three  in the District of Brookville and State aforesaid which I now live together will all improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining by her to be possessed and enjoyed so long as she shall live provided she shall not Marry but if she should marry then to forfeit the whole except her claims of one third which she shall hold in said property until the end of her Natural life.

Thirdly I give and devise unto my son  Lorenzo Dow Wilson  one hundred and sixty acres of Land being the  South West quarter of Section No. thirty-five in Township No. Eleven of Range five  in the District of Brookville and to my son  Westley Wilson  all of the  South East quarter of section thirty five Township Eleven Range five  in the district of Brookville together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Lorenzo Dow Wilson and Westley Wilson their heirs and assigns forever.

Fourthly I give and device unto my beloved Daughter  Katherine Wilson  Seventy Six acres and fifty two hundredth of an acre of land known and described as the south half of the  south east quarter of section 34 township 16 of Range 3 east  of White River in the district of Brookville together will all improvements to the same belonging or in any way appertaining by her to be fully and freely possessed and enjoyed by her and her heirs and assigns or legal representatives forever.

Fifthly and lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and Chattles moneys notes accounts or demands of whatsoever nature I give and bequeath the same to my beloved wife Sarah Wilson whom I hereby appoint sole executrix this my last will and Testament and will that she collect all demands or dues which I now have against any person and pay all debts which I now owe and after having Settled all as aforesaid the balance or remainder of my personal goods together with the amount of the land directed by her to be Sold as also the tract of land given to her during life together with the increase of every kind or nature same to be by her enjoyed on the condition aforesaid and to the end of her natural life and then to decend to and become the property and be equally vested in my two youngest daughters,  Elizabeth Wilson  and  Patsey Wilson  and by them to be fuly possessed and enjoyed by them and their heirs forever I hereby revoking all former wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand an seal this 16” day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-three

            I  William Wallace Clerk of the Court of Common Please within for said County do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full true and complete Transcript and Copy of the Last Will and Testament of Isaac Wilson deceased and the same remains of record in Will Record “A” at pages 83, 84 and 85 of the Record of Wills of said County. And that the same was recorded on the 15” day of November 1823
            In witness of which I hereunto Set my name and affix the Seal of said Court at Indianapolis the 14th day of November 1862.
