Will  of
Alfred  Tucker,  deceased


In the name of the Benevolent Father of all   I  Alfred Tucker  of Morristown Shelby County Indiana  do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
Item 1  I will and direct that all of my just debts and funeral expences be first paid out of my personal estate.
Item 2  I will devise and bequeathe to my beloved Wife Mary Tucker  in lieu of her statutory rights in my estate as my widow under the laws of the State of Indiana the sum of Five Hundred Dollars in money or personal property at the appraised value thereof to be selected by her and also one third of the residue of my personal estate that shall remain after payment of my just debts funeral expences and the expences of administration of my estate   I also will devise and bequeathe to my said wife Mary Tucker for and during the term of her natural life and for that term only one third of all the Real Estate of which I shall be the owner at the time of my death
Item 3.  I will give and bequeathe to my son  John A. Tucker  a Note executed by him to me on the 19th day of September 1885 for the sum of Five hundred and Five dollars which is all I desire that he shall have of my Estate.
Item 4  I will give and bequeathe to my son  Oliver N Tucker  a due bill executed by him to me on the 15th day of May 1876 for the sum of One hundred and Twenty Two and 34/100 Dollars which is all I desire that he shall have of my estate
Item 5  I will and bequeathe to my daughter  Netta Tucker  the sum of Three Hundred Dollars to aid in her support until she arrives of age.
Item 6  I will and bequeathe to my daughter  Mattie Tucker  the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to aid in her support until she arrives of age.
Item 7  I will devise and bequeathe to my two daughters Netta Tucker and Mattie Tucker in equal proportions after the death of my wife Mary Tucker the one third of my Real Estate willed devised and bequeathed to my said Wife for the term of her natural life in and by item 2 of this my last Will the same to be shared and held by my said two daughters in fee simple after the death of my said Wife.
Item 8  I will devise and bequeathe all the residue of my Estate both Real and Personal not herein above disposed of as follows
To my son  William S Tucker  one sixth part thereof
To my son  Jessie H Tucker  one sixth part thereof
To my son  George E S Tucker  one sixth part thereof
To my daughter  Netta Tucker  one sixth part thereof
To my daughter  Mattie Tucker  one sixth part thereof
To  Minnie Morris  Ora Nigh  Altha Tucker  and  William Tucker  children of my deceased son  Jame V Tucker  share and share alike one sixth part thereof
Item 9  For reasons satisfactory to me  I have not given any of my Estate to the children of my deceased daughter  Nancy J. Harris  (formerly Nancy J Hay)
Item 10  I hereby nominate and appoint my friend  Benjamin F Nugent  as Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I also hereby select and appoint said Benjamin F Nugent as Guardian of my two daughters  Netta Tucker and Mattie Tucker if they shall be minors at the time of my death or subject to Guardianship and I request that letters of Guardianship be issued to him by the Shelby Circuit Court
Item 11  I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of June 1891
