Last  Will  and  Testament   of
Amanda  Bennett

          I, Amanda Bennett, of the City of Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, as follows to wit:

          First:  I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible.

          Second:  I give and bequeath all the property of which I may died seized, both real and personal, to my daughter Anna C. Bennett, to have and hold the same absolutely and forever.

          Third:  In the event of the death of my said daughter Anna C. Bennett in my life time, I then give and bequeath to my beloved husband  James C. Bennett all my property, both real and personal.

          Fourth:  I hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter Anna C. Bennett executrix of this my last Will and Testament.  I further direct that the said Anna C. Bennett, be not required to give any Bond or security for the performance of her duty as such executrix.

          Fifth: I hereby revoke any and all former Wills and Testamentary dispositions by me made.

          In Witness Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name by mark, at the City of Shelbyville, Indiana and requested Warren W. Snider and  Lydia K. Snider in whose presence I have attesting witnesses thereto this the 7th day of February 1910.

          The foregoing will was subscribed by mark and declared by Amanda Bennett as her last Will and Testament in our presence and in the presence of each of us and we and each of us at her request and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribe our names and places of residence attesting witnesses hereto, this seventh day of February, 1910.

          Be it remembered that on the 27th day of November 1911, Warren W. Snider one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Amanda Bennett, late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before Otto L. Coyle, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County in the State of Indiana and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court upon his oath, declared and testified as follows, that is to say: That on the seventh day of February, 1910, he saw the said Amanda Bennett sign her name to the said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament; and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Amanda Bennett declare the said instrument in writing was at the same time, at the request of the said Amanda Bennett and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said Warren W. Snider and Lydia K. Snider in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Amanda Bennett was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty-one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint as the said deponent verily believes and further deponent says not.

          I, Otto L. Coyle, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Amanda Bennett has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Warren W. Snider, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will of the testimony of the said Warren W. Snider in proof thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at Pages 78-79 & 80 of the record of Wills of said County.
          In Attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, this 27th day of November, 1911.
