Last  Will  and  Testament  of
Ira  R.  Sleeth


          I,  Ira R. Sleeth,  of Shelby County Indiana, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

          1st.   It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.

          2nd.   I give and devise all the residue of my estate to my brother, Harry C. Sleeth, to be his and his heirs forever.  My estate consists principally in an undivided interest in some real estate located in the village of Freeport, Shelby County, Indiana, of which my mother, Eunice U. Sleeth  died seized, and in an undivided interest in a certain mortgage and the note thereby secured, made to my father, James M. Sleeth, and my said mother.

          3rd.   I make and appoint my said brother Harry C. Sleeth, executor of this, my last will and testament.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Fourth Day of May, 1915.

          Be it remembered, that on the 31 day of July, 1915, Emma Hill one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Ira R. Sleeth late of said County, deceased personally appeared before Cecil B. Collins, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, upon his oath, declared and testified as follows, that is to say: That on the 4th day of May, 1915 she saw the said Ira R. Sleeth sign his name to the said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament, and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Ira R. Sleeth declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Ira R. Sleeth and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said Emma Hill in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Ira R. Sleeth was, at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

          I, Cecil B. Collins Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Ira R. Sleeth has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Emma Hill one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said Emma Hill in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 7 at Pages 24-25 of the record of Wills of said County.

          In Attestation Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, this 31 day of July 1915.
