I, Mary A. Templeton of Shelby County, Indiana, being sound in mind, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

First   I direct and will that all my property both real and personal shall go to my Husband  Robert Templeton  and Daughter  Stella May Templeton,  to have and to hold the same during the period of their natural lives in equal portions, half and half.

Providing, that should my daughter Stella May Templeton marry, or die, before the death of my huband Robert Templeton then in either case of marriage or death, all of the said property shall go unto and become the property of my said Husband Robert Templeton, to have and to hold during his life time the said Stella and Robert Templeton shall keep all taxes, and Insurance on said property paid as they become due, and keep the property in good repair.

In case of the death of my husband Robert Templeton, before the death of Stella May Templeton, then all of said property is to become the property of the said Stella May Templeton, provided she is yet single, but in case she is married, at the death of the said Robert Templeton, then all of said property is to be divided between all of my Heirs as the law directs, except, I direct that Stella May Templeton if still living and married, shall have the sum of $500.00, George H. Templeton  shall the sum of $190.00 and  Annie M. McKee  the sum of $100.00 out of my said property first, then the remainder divided equal as the law directs.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 24th day of March 1908.

1915 George H. Templeton, son of Mary A. Templeton, deceased, and testatrix of the within will and one of the witnesses Cyrus D. Harwood being dead and John W. Bell being a resident of the State of Ohio personally appeared before Cecil B. Collins, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, upon his oath declared and testified as follows, that is to say: That the signature to said will is that of his mother, Mary A. Templeton, and that the signature of John W. Bell as one of the witnesses to said will is that of said John W. Bell of Ohio; and that this deponent knows that said will is that of said Mary A. Templeton, deceased and that said instrument in writing is her last Will and Testament, and that said Mary A. Templeton was at the time of the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

                    I, Cecil B. Collins, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Mary A. Templeton, has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of George H. Templeton, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said George H. Templeton in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at Pages 587 - 588 - 589 of the record of Wills of said County.
