Mount Auburn Christian Church
The Shelbyville Republican
Sunday, November 1st, was an interesting day in Mt. Auburn. With a good attendance at Sunday school, though not as large as usual, and with large audience at the morning worship and evening services in the Mt. Auburn Christian church, the day was a happy one. Visitors were present at the services from Flat Rock, Lewis Creek, Columbus and Franklin, and from other points which the writer did not learn. In the morning the pastor, Don A. McKinnon, appealed to the friends and members of the church and Sunday school to help maintain throughout the closing months of the year their unusually large Sunday school attendance. In the afternoon he made a pastoral call on Mr. N. D. Jones, who is possibly the oldest man in the township.
