Shelby County Indiana, Churches
Sugar Creek Circuit
Methodist Protestant
A Short History of Sugar Creek Circuit of the Indiana Conference, Methodist Protestant Church
Sugar Creek Circuit, of the Indiana Conference of the Methodist Protestant Church, is one of the oldest charges within the conference district. It is at present composed of four appointments, and four churches, Carrolton, Fairview, Freeport and Sugar Creek. Formerly there was a class at what was known as Concord, but from some cause the house was allowed to go to decay and the few remaining members transferred their membership to the other churches on the charge.
